Apple's Magic Trackpad

Apple's online store has been down for a while today, as many of the user suspect a new gadget from the store. and ofcourse most people seemed to be aware that new Mac Pros and iMacs were coming, but there a new product release today.

Apple today introduced its Trackpad called the Apple's Magic Trackpad, Its basically a trackpad that you would find on  a MacBook or a MacBook Pro. as Apple quotes

Why should notebooks have all the fun?

with this device you will be able to use all the same multi-touch gestures you're used to on your Macbook on any Mac. Its can be imagined as  a large multi touch trackpad. As per Apple, it covers 80% more area than the trackpads found on the MacBook Pros.  you can highlight this as two-finger scroll, the three finger swipe, or a rotate movement. if you are a MacBook Pro user than it must be know to you.

Software compatibility:

Magic Trackpad requires OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.4).

Power :

The TrackPad runs on two AA batteries, and also a new battery charger product for AA batteries being launched today.You can also use your bluetooth

Price:

It can be substitute to your mouse device, as entire thing is clickable. Apple is officially selling the Magic Trackpad from today for just $69 -- the same price as Magic Mouse.
