Apple official letter to all iPhone 4 users regarding reception issue

Today, Apple published official letter to all the iPhone 4 users expressing their interest in solving the reception issue, Apple states iPhone 4 has been the most successful product launch in apple history as judged by reviewers around the world claiming it to be the best smartphone ever, and the love which the user showed up toward it.

Apple was surprised to read about the reports of reception problems and quickly started to investigate in this, and now apple has the solution for this. it claims to have used a fault software calculation method for displaying the number of bars to be displayed. hence to fix this, apple is adopting AT&T's recently recommended formula for calculating how many bars to display for a given signal strength.

To fix this, Apple will be releasing a free software update within a few weeks that incorporates the corrected formula. and since the mistake of displaying the actual bars is from the original iPhone, this software update will also be available for the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G. Apple also announced for the customers who are still unsatisfied with this fix can return their undamaged iPhone to any apple retail store and get a full refund, this sounds interesting for most of the unhappy customers. Apple tried its best to maintain its reputation by providing this update.

Now lets see how the iPhone 4 users respond to this update, will this update solve the problem completely.
