iPhone4 : FaceTime over 3G

If you know iPhone4, then you must know about FaceTime. FaceTime is video calling service over Wi-Fi Only and available only via iPhone4 to iPhone4. But wait you can change the way it is done, you just have to jailbreak it.

Since the release of official Jailbreak, less than 24 hours, FaceTime has already been tricked into working over 3G connections. It's made possibly by My3G, its app ofcourse a jailbreak app which tricks your iPhone into thinking it's a Wi-Fi instead of 3G. There are several other limitations which also get lifted like low-res you tube videos or the 20 MB download limit on the app store. With this wonderful feature unlocked due to jailbreaking, people might want to think a little about jail breaking their device, but that's not recommended.

As FaceTime is only meant to work exceptionally well on Wi-Fi rather than the 3G network, and also you will have to drop $2.99 on Cydia or $3.99 on Rock( after a free trial). Still you might wonder, if it actually performs upto your expectations.

My advice is to have your Phone, as Original as it was when you bought it, enjoy its premium features rather than moving towards jail-breaking it.
